C & R of Poulton le Fylde, earlier this year, spent some considerable time planning their new bathroom.
Like many people, they had paid a number of visits to Blackpool Tile & Bathroom Centre on the advice of their builders/ fitters J (John) Peake, and his work partner Jason (Bottomley)).
Their plan, with John & Jason’s expertise, was to totally reconfigure a large part of the ground floor of their home, which required some ingenuity, as I will reveal later in this blog.
C & R gave Rich their wish list ;-
- Luxurious freestanding Slipper bathtub
- White 1400 x 800 stone shower tray with ‘Corniche’ sliding door
- White ‘Kolour’ 1200 (double) wall hung vanity unit
- Premium chrome Thermo shower
- RAK Resort comfort height WC
- 1200 x 500 chrome towel rail
- 800 x400 Cardostone Beige Wall tiles.
R particularly enjoys to bathe after sport so the bathtub was his choice.
Here we see the 1200 ‘Kolour’ twin vanity with double basins. C & R we’re drawn to choose this particular unit configuration after seeing this self same unit on display in our bathroom showroom at Blackpools Whitegate Drive.
Now here comes a slight twist. As I mentioned earlier, a little ingenuity was required.

At the same time as the bathroom project was completed, John & Jason also refurbed C & R’s utility room and downstairs cloakroom with sanitary equipment and tiles purchased from us at Blackpool Tile & Bathroom Centre.
